Having the correct mindset when you start your business is very critical to your success and is overlooked by so many people. So many entrepreneurs start out by picking up a desk they like, software they think will help them, choose where they want to advertise and market, plan how much money they want to make. They don’t ever pay attention to their mindset and begin their business backwards.

In this article I am going to outline some basic but very important things to consider when you start to develop your mindset. Your mindset will then fit in with the rest of the necessary things you need in order to run a successful network marketing business.

If you have worked for a boss then you know that in most cases employees end up scheduling about 8 hours a day and get paid for a typical work day. For 8 hours the employee is completing tasks related to his or her job. Recent studies have shown that the average person will work a 6 hours a day productively or even less. That means that if you are working 8 hours a day you are wasting 2 hours at least a day not being productive. Now calculate that over a week, a year, 5 years!! The loss of productivity is massive.

If you are beginning your home based business then your mind may still be mentally in employee mode still. As an entrepreneur you are now being “paid” for results. Appearing to be busy to make your boss happy, or wasting time doing un-productive tasks MUST be stopped.

This is the time where it’s important to have a great mindset. Many people call it positive thinking, the secret, the law of attraction etc. But what it all comes down to is the same concept needs to be applied to see success.

Spend some time and study the law of attraction. Learn how you can apply it to your life and your business. Once you master your mindset then you can achieve maximum success and harmony in your life.
